In order to respond to our clients’ expectations and to strict deadlines, Emprotec designs in-house tooling taking into account the need for rapid tool changes which has led to standardization in particular with regards to a constant height of the tool.
In a constant effort to optimise costs Emprotec also designs tooling which can allow for several operations to take place simultaneously.
The advantage of an in-house tooling workshop is that Emprotec can repair tools which may be damaged and put them back into the production process rapidly. Moreover, in the same way an existing tool can be adapted according to changes which the client should require.
Even though the design and production of tools may be very of high quality, manual finishing is always necessary. This step involves placing a blank in the tool in order to check at which point it breaks, shows friction or slides too easily. In order to guarantee the perfect passage of the metal, the tooling is finished by hand. This operation requires a great deal of skill which is guaranteed by the professionnal experience of the Emprotec team.
After creating the tool, our in-house workshop also carrries out its maintenance, thereby ensuring optimisation of the life of the tool without altering its characteristics and its quality.
