Our history
In 1988, Michel Schaaf, an engineer passionate about deep-drawing technique, founded the company. Over the years, Emprotec has adapted to market changes by providing its clients with technical products from materials which correspond to constraints of cost and quality.
In 2014, Alain Parisse bought the company bringing fresh impetus. Ten years later he has doubled the number of employees and built new premises of over 1 000m2 on the Alpespace industrial estate in St Hélène du Lac Savoie to house rapidly expanding activity.
“With twice as much space we can optimize, streamline and safeguard production and ensure better working conditions for the team bringing greater safety” explains Alain Parisse “What’s more we can continue to grow in better conditions and respond ever more effectively to the needs and expectations of our clients”.
Over the last decade Emprotec’s production has doubled to reach 5 million parts a year, 70% of production goes to export.
Even though the main activity of the company is still the automotive sector, supplying various parts such as guide tubes for clutch stops, casing and electromagnetic valves micro-connecting boxes, Emprotec has earned a enviable reputation as a subcontractor
Today Emprotec is further increasing its efforts to accompany projects and research and development, while, at the same time, maintaining its technical potential which has made its reputation.
