As part of its CSR approach, Emprotec is supporting the beekeeping sector in Auvergne Rhône-Alpes by sponsoring an Abeilles & environnement beehive.
Bees are the guardians of biodiversity: they are essential to the fruiting of fruit trees, cereals and vegetables. Without them, 90% of fruit and vegetables would disappear.
Supporting the installation of beehives is therefore an eco-responsible initiative, explains Alain Parisse, Chairman and CEO of Emprotec. Beyond that, this initiative gives our teams the chance to rally around a project that is original yet meaningful, and to share common values with the beekeeper looking after our colony.
Our bees are currently in the apiary at Sonnay (38), and the honey supers have been fitted for the rapeseed honey flow. The supers are used to store the surplus honey, which is not essential to the life of the colony.
If all goes well, we should soon be able to let you taste “Emprotec” organic honey!
