Energy transition in action at Emprotec: 400 m² of photovoltaic panels installed

Emprotec has just commissioned a 400 m² rooftop photovoltaic (solar) power plant. This investment reflects our concrete commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and to the transition towards cleaner, more sustainable energy.

The installation has a peak power of 57 kWp and can produce up to 60,000 kWh per year. A significant share of our electricity consumption will now be covered by a local, renewable source.

Why does it matter?
• Less dependence on fossil fuels
• A significant reduction in our CO₂ emissions
• Long-term stabilisation of energy costs in the face of market volatility
• Making good use of unused industrial property (the roof)
