Emprotec manufactures deep-drawn crimp ferrules in series, to drawing, for hose and fitting manufacturers: pipes, high- and low-pressure hydraulic hoses, in steel, stainless steel and brass.
A deep-drawn ferrule is one-piece and consistent from one part to the next: that is what guarantees reliable, leak-tight crimping. It also uses less material than a machined ferrule.

For a crimp ferrule, dimensional consistency is the key:
Study : diameters, thickness and material chosen according to the pipe, the pressure and the fluid.
Tool : transfer tool designed and built in our workshop.
Deep drawing : one-piece, seamless ferrules produced at high speed.
Consistency : dimensions monitored continuously for identical crimping every time.
Inspection : three-dimensional measurement and probing, first article inspection report.
Delivery : cleaned parts and batch traceability.

Do you make crimp ferrules to drawing?
Yes, only to drawing: diameters, length, thickness and material are defined with you according to the pipe or hose to be crimped. We do not sell catalogue ferrules.
Which material for a crimp ferrule?
Steel for most hoses, stainless steel for corrosive fluids or demanding environments, brass for plumbing and heating. Thicknesses from 0.2 to 2 mm.
Can you replace a machined ferrule?
Often, yes: a ferrule machined from tube or bar can be converted to deep drawing. Send us the drawing: we check feasibility and the material saving.
What volumes?
Crimp ferrules are produced in series on our transfer presses. Tell us your annual volumes for a tailored quotation.
