Which chuck parts can you deep-draw?
Hollow cylindrical parts, to your drawing, in steel or stainless steel, from 0.2 to 2 mm thick.
Is deep drawing precise enough for a chuck?
Yes: the transfer tool gives consistent dimensions from one part to the next, and we monitor dimensions during production by optical measurement and probing. Precision comes from the tool, which we design and build ourselves.
Why deep-draw rather than machine?
In large series, deep drawing forms the part in a few press strokes, with no chips: less material, less machine time, a much lower unit cost.
Who maintains the tool?
Our toolmakers. The tool is designed by our design office, built in our workshop and maintained throughout the life of the part, so that the last part is identical to the first.
